  • Managing Groups, Users, Service and Computer Accounts
  • Group Policy Management (planning, implementing, and troubleshooting)
  • Managing Active Directory Certificate Services
  • Installs various types of software including operating systems and applications on a variety of hardware platforms including system updates, patches and configuration changes.
  • 3+ years of experience in windows client OS deployment or troubleshooting
  • General knowledge of workplace services and basic knowledge of DWP-product
    • Operationalization of Core Client:
    • Customization of WIM-Images (Windows OS: Client or Server for Terminal server) (“images”)
    • Engineers, creates and integrates local user-and client policies, engineers group policies.
    • Integrates (Core) Apps using OSD-Task Sequences,
    • Integration of Patches into image.
  • Operationalization Releasemgmt. Core Client
    • Maintains releases/roadmap
    • Creation of images / major releases
      • For each new customer
      • 2 major releases per year and customer
  • Update of images / minor releases
    • 4 minor releases per year and customer.
      Integration of Microsoft patches e.g. by SCCM Capture using a Task Sequence.
  • Support
    • Manages the resolution of problems and changes for customer clients
    • 2nd Level Support for Incidents & Problems, ticket handling
    • 3rd Level Support for Problems
    • Analysis, troubleshooting, recreation and fix of complex errors
    • Continuous improvement: feedback to design authority/DWP Dev.
  • Creates and maintains guideline for Images (creation, update, lifecycle)
  • Operate a LAB of images, test new releases (e.g. Win 7 monthly rollup, Win10 CB,…)
  • Ensure Quality of core client/image
  • Provides deployment, installation and support of client-software for designated customer.
  • Participate in troubleshooting calls
  • Scripting experiences
  • Experience in Adobe/Office/Java operation
  • At least BSc. degree in IT field 
  • Fluent english
  • Driving licence
  • In-depth knowledge of client operating systems (Windows 7 & 10) including Troubleshooting and Deployment
  • Basic Knowledge of Software distribution systems (SCCM)
  • Basic Cloud Computing Solutions (Citrix preferred)
  • MSI technology
  • Windows Registry
  • (local/client based) Group Policy and Active Directory
  • Windows scripting
  • VB Script, Powershell
  • Virtualization technologies, Citrix/VMware
  • Desktop virtualization technology
  • Ticket systems (SM9 preferred)
  • Certification in Windows 7/10 (welcome, but purely optional)
